Ingredients are usually, but not always;
450g mince (we used pork this time)
one tablespoon oil
two onions (chopped) - you can also use leeks... just chop them and add instead or as well as onions
two carrots (chopped)
and good helping of tomato ketchup (we use Heinz)
plus a handful of frozen peas.
Seasoning to taste.
Start by warming the oil in a frying pan. Add the onion and cook 'til starting to soften. Then add the mince, break it up and let it brown over a medium heat. Once the meat is browned, add the carrots and dollop of tomato ketchup. Season - we use ground black pepper.
Makes me hungry just looking at it :-)
ReplyDeleteI love mince. It's so versatile. This looks great.

Nice, simply straightforward. One to try out on the kids I reckon.
